Couture Allure
Couture Fashion photographs are a way to add some instant glam on your walls. I am in love with these outstanding photographs of fashion icons from the 1960's.
Jean Shrimpton was the looks of the 60s. Her face appeared on the cover of every fashion magazine and her life in every gossip column. Her beauty and style is like no other as each photograph i find of her just says something. Here is my favorite below of her framed in a black wooden distressed frame.
Art that makes a fashion statement with these Couture Magazine art panels ready to hang with a satin ribbon. They look fantastic when paired in a group.

Also check out these new darling Canine Couture pillows which just arrived by the gals at When Lindsey Met Sandy. Pick your favorite pooch!
I hope you like our new Couture Collection just in time for Spring!

Decoupage At The Pink Pig
I must say i do have a case of cabin fever here in the Adirondack's as we are expecting another major snowstorm this Friday. To keep things moving along here at the shops we have been busy working on a few pieces of cottage furniture for Spring. I thought i would share with you a few clever ways we gave our antique furniture a new look with our new Decoupage Design.
Decoupage became popular in Europe during the 18th and 19th centuries. Many were found on small decorative boxes, trays and tables cleverly pasted by a skilled artist.

A Penny For Your Thoughts
I recently had the pleasure of meeting the creator of this fabulous jewelry line Studio Pennylane while at the NY Gift Show in January.
Founder Laurie Libman-Wilson developed Project Pennylane to promote a global educational movement fostering Mindful Awareness for children. Her passion is to educate youth by supporting Mindful Awareness Education Programs. Her goal is to empower sides by thinking positively and creating a change within themselves that can impact their environment, the world, and our future.
Studio Pennylane is a jewelry line that is focused around the simplicity of the penny and offers fashionable pieces of wearable art and specialty items. The symbolism of a penny is a reminder that life is full of surprises and good things happen all the time. Giving a penny to someone you know carries hopes for a new life of endless possibilities and a brighter tomorrow.
We are thrilled at the Pink Pig to have this collection in our shops. Good things do come in small packages as this jewelry collection offers budget friendly, chic gift ideas that are perfect for anybody on your gift-list.

Hi-Tech Gadgets by Native Union
We fell in love with these sleek new phone handsets from Native Union which have just arrived at the shop. The retro-design Pop Phone handsets, designed by French designer David Turpin, bring back memories of those black handsets from the 1950's. If your old enough to remember rotary-dial phones with those metal bells, you will feel right at home.
These Moshi Moshi Pop Phones can be used with iPods, iPhones or any cell phone with a 3.5mm headset socket. When plugged into an Apple iPad or computer with Skype, the handset turns the iPad into a desk phone. The handset includes noise reduction technology, and as an answer/hang up button in the middle. Great gifts for anyone on your list.
Check out these great colors this new chic phone handset is available in......
Check out this stylish contemporary handset - MM03i is a contemporary styled Bluetooth handset, finished in a luxurious black gloss texture, it has an integrated iPhone charging dock. Manufactured with a high quality speaker and microphone, it supports Bluetooth 2.1 multipoint technology, which lets you pair and answer calls on two different Bluetooth devices. This means that you can quickly and easily connect the Moshi Moshi 03i to charge and synch your iPhone and a Smartphone or any other Bluetooth-enabled device, such as a laptop for use with VOIP Internet calls such as Skype. The iPhone charger built into the base will allow you to enjoy the privilege of having your iPhone constantly in charge and the design of the handset itself will help you to enjoy the easeof use of your iPhone during communication calls.
Sleek new ways to add some High-Tech style to your office or workspace... Now We Are Talking!
